Merdeka ! Merdeka ! Merdeka !

“Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?” - Gandhi Ji

Freedom is nothing else but a chance to be better.”  - Albert Camus

"In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline." - Martin Luther King Jr.

Happy 55th Independence Day Malaysia !
Proud to be a MALAYSIAN !

Happy Birthday Sis...

You are our guardian angel in disguise
With lots of care, intelligence  and love
Always helping through good and bad
You are also the greatest friend I’ve ever had
If I could have one wish it would be
To give you all that you have given to me
Though I've put our relationship through some hazy days
You've been that sunlight which shone in so many ways
Through our  ups and downs, right by me you stood
And gave me your hand whenever you could
Though I am sure my mistakes are many
But you’re always there to keep me away from my fears
My appreciation for you has no end
You will always be my sister and my friend

Happy Birthday G.P !!!!

With love

Raya Break & Singapore Trip

Recently I won a two-day hotel stay voucher @ mOOn hotel in singapore from Wotif..so I tot it'd be great to bring mum & sis over there for a short trip. It was also my sister's birthday on the 26th and also I had a long raya break.

Off to Singapore from 22nd to 24th of August 2012. We took AirAsia cos they flew direct from Penang to Changi. Stayed @ the Moonlight Suite, MOON Hotel. The hotel was nearby Little India- so  it was easy for us to get vegetarian food (sis is a full time vegan).

Accolade for Amachi (1927 - 2012)

In Memory of My Amachi
This adorable small sized lady
That means so much to me
May be gone from the land of the living
But with me she will always be
Because my memory holds her dearly
And my pen recalls her ....
she may be a conventional person
but in some ways she stood by me
and the decisions in life I made

thank you...amachi.
I know in my heart
you are somewhere happy now...

rest in peace ...amachi
