I am a BIG fan of Korean drama. I started watching in 2001 I think. No...I was NOT one of those hooked watching Winter Sonata...fortunately for me the first Korean drama I sort of fell in love with was "The Successful Story of A Bright Girl" staring Jang Nara & my first love Jang Hyuk. The storyline were somewhat different from the ones we usually watch. That started my journey of discovering the 'wonders of Korean drama" till now... To date, I've (only) watched aver 70 i think...hehehe
Most recent I finished watching "The King of Dramas" which depicts the world of drama series production. Viewers are finally given an insight of what actually happens behind every drama production. An insight indeed ! Kim Myung Min portrayed his character 'Anthony Kim' perfectly. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised looking at all the hardship each drama production has to go thru,
which I would never have guessed.
I've just finised "Arang & the Majistrate" today :)
What I notice :
1) Korean drama seem to be one of the best 'tourism' promotion for Korea. I salute the directors cos they promote their provinces well in return making viewers desire to visit Korea.
2) The characters are well portrayed. its such a way that even the villains are not hated at any end of the drama...
3) Korean man cries !!!! <3 p="">
4) You will automatically learn to love Korean food, Korean phrases & anything and everything about Korea !!!
