i'm a korean drama addict

Currently i am watching Fashion 70's (I love bad boy Bin) & The Time between Dog & Wolf...

Unlike many who was hooked with "Winter Sonata" ...my first introduction to Korean drama was "The Successful Story Of A Bright Girl" and my first crush was Jang Hyuk. I loved the story line. My friends were then obsessed with 'Autumn In My Heart". (that was the time when tissue prices went up...hihihi). Have u seen the little girl's (who plays young Eun Suh) acting ? Damn..goooood !

Why i love korean drama ? Well, the stories were different. I prefered fun stories...like My Love Patzzi, All About Eve and Yu Hee The Witch. I was in love...again..(duhh) this time with Lee Dong Wook...who plays Gong Chan in "My Girl". I have the dvd at home...and i've watched it so many times. I love the story very much. If u are an ardent fan of Korean drama...you'll know wat i'm talking about.

So...here goes.. I AM SEN & I AM ADDICTED TO KOREAN DRAMA !

Slurpee vs Ais Kepal :p

My office is nearby the 7-Eleven....and since the day we moved..my darling friends D & Syeer became the ardent fan of 7-11 for it's Slurpee.Watching them enjoy Slupee...very much reminded me of my very own 'Ais Kepal'...

Photo : Courtesy of Cokeworld Citizen

Ais kepal is simply made of compressed ice shavings coated with syrup (sirap merah). We suck it while holding it with our bare frozen hands! Yay !Time kecik selalu makan. Balik sekolah jek singgah kedai...beli. Tambah sirap lebih..hmmm....sedap nyerrrrr....

Sekarang dah advance...ada Slurpee kat 7-Eleven la pulak... hihihihi...inovasi la katakan...

my new nest...

Nice ? ;)

Jodha Akbar - A PERSONAL Review

Finally i watched Jodha Akhbar yesterday...

Jodhaa Akbar is a sixteenth century love story about a marriage of alliance that gave birth to true love between a great Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa. The film centers around the romance between the Muslim Mughal Emperor Akbar, played by Hrithik Roshan and his Hindu wife, Jodhabai, played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The director has admitted that about 70% of the movie is based on his imagination. However, many of the events portrayed in the movie are based on real events. The romance between the couple is subtle and beautiful, something that is hard to find in modern day movies. The chemistry between Ash Hrithik is sizzling and scintillating.Hrithik enacted his role with such precision,Ash was a lovely princess.Never before seen battle sequences so spectacular and energetic in Hindi cinema.Cinematography by Kiran Deohans was worth praising.Songs by A.R was melodius especially Jashn e Bahara.

This movie created controversy because of the marriage between a Muslim ruler with a Hindu princess. The film's best moments are the ones between the protagonist couple. Take that scene in which he catches her sight transfixed on his bare torso (hmmmm) or that sword fight between the couple that's bubbling with sexual energy. Even that delicate scene in which he reveals to his wife an awkward truth about his education. Or then that moving scene in which he vindicates her honour by demanding to be served his lunch in the same plates she ate out of just moments ago in a tense situation. Or when Akbar takes Jodha to their room and tells her he loves her, my gosh that was so perfect Truth is, Jodhaa Akbar works like a dream when it focuses its energies on the relationship between the couple – their little spats, their mischievous moments, his heeding her advice, and the like. Also when Jalaludin says "The worlds happiness cannot be divided based on religions"...
Being a very selective person when it comes to Hindi films....i loved this movie. You gotta watch to understand why i say so. A Parsian quote from this movie - "Az mast ke bar mast" (whatever happens to us is our fault and from us)
